Hi there!
I’m Beck, I’m the owner and founder of Fusion Wellbeing. I’ve been working in health and fitness for 15 years and I’m a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and Exercise Specialist. I am passionate about helping my clients improve their quality of life by combining hands-on treatment and appropriate exercise prescription to reduce pain and improve musculoskeletal and biomechanical function. I believe strongly in educating and empowering my clients to gain a better understanding of their body and to have the confidence to make informed choices for their health and wellbeing.
I have a special interest in working with clients during and beyond pregnancy, and I am registered NurtureLife® Pregnancy Massage Practitioner, a certified pre and postnatal exercise trainer, and a pre and postnatal Yoga and Pilates instructor. I am also a certified Childbirth Educator and registered member of CAPEA (Childbirth and Parenting Educators of Australia) and have completed several pelvic floor courses through the Continence Foundation of Australia. In addition, I am also a Corrective Exercise Specialist and a certified Zumba and boxing instructor. I have a strong focus on safe exercise prescription, core and postural stability, corrective exercise, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
As you may be able to tell, I love variety and take a holistic approach in my treatments, PT sessions and classes. I believe this is a great way to continue to stimulate the body and mind to affect positive changes and avoid complacency and plateauing when working towards health and wellbeing goals, whether they are to reduce pain and dysfunction, improve strength and fitness, or anywhere in between!
I love working with my clients on an individual level, appreciating that there is never a one-size-fits-all approach – each person is unique, with their own story, needs and treatment responses. I believe life is also very much about balance and I enjoy supporting her clients to find the balance in their lives. I also love to work closely and collaboratively with other like-minded health practitioners to help my clients achieve their wellbeing goals.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy going for runs and yoga practice, eating chocolate and creating memories with my husband and three young children.
